charming city stay!
clean bedsheets friendly staff metro proximity
i found the bed comfortable and the provided pillow and bedsheets quite clean! the main attractions were surprisingly close. i liked that the staff was friendly and helpful, suggesting areas to see. it's also quite close to the metro!
On my last morning, there was no hot water without any warning. It was a little inconvenient.

The hotel is about a fifteen-minute walk to the city center. I liked this proximity! it's very central, close to historic areas of the city.

the breakfast included pastel de natas, a nice surprise that i appreciated. i also found the coffee at breakfast good with a decent selection of cakes and pastries available .

missing amenity late check-in
the hotel location allowed easy metro access
the room lacked essential amenities like milk for coffee it was inconvenient i had to buy it separately downstairs also the check-in time was late at 3pm i found the requirement to provide bank card details on paper concerning it felt outdated and insecure

adequate, but some issues noted
small room plumbing odor
the room felt quite small (i was in a 'double room'), and the lack of space was noticeable. also, , there was an unpleasant odor coming from the bathroom. i suspect this was due to the plumbing, but it persisted despite daily cleaning. this issue detracted from the overall experience considerably, and i believe it requires attention from the hotel management.
